I got the program 3 days ago. It looks extremely promising. In the first week I am
sitting down and honestly analyzing my fears. Prior to this, I thought I was anxious
in response to other drivers I am now realizing that I am causing my own anxiety.
Besides problems with freeway driving, it is hard for me to go down hills. Which is
hard, because there are so many hills here. I had thought that my problem was a
fear that my brakes would give out. That really isn't logical, since I drive a well-
maintained car. I just realized that my fear is that my foot will slip off the brake.
So I gave myself some positive self talk and that helped. I still have to build up
to going down hills at nite.

I share a lot of the said above. I feel more comfortable driving up a hill than driving down. Which means that I drive up faster then down. I know that I am causing my own fears. I have been back at the wheel for a about a year now after not driving at all for over five years. I am a very good driver, I have good control of the car, but I cause myself to fear that if I go too fast I might not be able to respond in time to something that might happen. I am basically afraid to make a mistake and look stupid. Which is pretty stupid considering that this causes me to drive at very slow speeds and sometimes to drive on the road's shoulders and that doesn't look to smart.

Hello,

Really its a great experience of fear. My friend also face these type of problem. He went for the vacation on hills by car and he meet an accident on that place. That's why i also very much worried to drive on the hilly place.
