ok so its been 3 months since i started the program and i'm thrilled with how far my driving has come. i'm now driving certain roads that i used to have problems with on a daily basis without fear. i still have a long way to go yet, but i WILL get there. i've been forcing myself to take those problem areas so much that i'm really conquering some of the fears i had.

yesterday morning i decided to take a nice hour drive through a bunch of the problem spots. i had done them all individually before but i really wanted to push myself. out of 8 spots i only had minor difficulty on 2 of them. not bad considering 6 months ago nothing could get me on some of these roads. it was a great feeling!

its possible to overcome this and with babysteps i'm doing it. i know the only way to overcome this fear is to face it head on. i'm slowly working my way up to going faster and hopefully be able to drive on the interstate again. Thank you Rich for showing me how to get my life back!

That's fantastic! Isn't it a great feeling to be able to look at your progress over 3 months time and see how far you've come? You must be thrilled! It sounds like we've been working with the program for about the same amount of time (I'm at almost 4 months). Like you, I've taken those baby steps and have found myself driving on the highway and doing things I never, ever thought were possible 6 months ago. Like you, I still have a way to go but I know that we're definitely on the right track.

Great job and keep going!! I know we're going to overcome this thing!
