My name is Jane and I hope that I can find some help here. I would like to know if this program has helped anyone. I have ordered my package, but yet to receive. I hope it is at home when I get there tonight.

Unless I am looking in the wrong place, I have noticed that there is not much discussion. I hope someone answers.

Thank you,
Jane

Hi Jane,

I have just joined this forum too. I haven't purchased the progrfam yet, but I did read the free five session seminar. I thought it was very insightful. I'm torn between taking an anti anxiety medicine or trying this program first. I am leaning towards the program. I don't want to use medicine to mask a situtation that I may be able to correct without it.

I'll let you know how I make out with it.

Hi Michelle,

Thanks for responding. I use medication now and have for the past 5-6 years, when all my anxiety started. It started while I was driving home from the lake and then it happened at work. I thought I was having a heart attack. My work sent me to my primary doctor and she recommended a physcitrast (I don't think I spelled that correctly). Both doctors said I was depressed and they are probably correct, because I was in a terrible relationship. I have moved on since then and thought things were getting better. Then all of sudden after Christmas here we go again. At least I could drive back in forth to work. Now my new husband is doing it, so I don't freak out.

I received my material last Friday and I have only been reading the book. It seems pretty accurate about my anxiety. I am going to try driving this weekend, even if it is only to the store. Wish me luck!!!

Jane

I haven't ordred the program becasue I am not "there" yet, but wanted to say hi. I noticed that this forum isn't very active, but if you ever want to talk I come on here quite often. I'm 28 and have never had my license, and cannot get behind the wheel of ANY vehicle without going into extreme panic.

Hi Jenn

Thanks for responding to my post. I am disappointed that there is not much activity on this forum. I was hoping to be able to speak with people starting out, going through and have completed the program.

I have noticed my confindence level increase in just the few days I have been reading the program. I have a very stressful job, so this has come in handy. I have yet attempted to drive, but think I will ask my hubby, if I can drive home from work tonight. At least, that is what I say right now, until I get to the car, who knows.

I hope you find your confindence and can start driving. I remember not ever having to worry about getting in to my car and taking off. I really miss those days and I hope to regain them soon. I will keep you posted.

Thank you Steve for the vote of confidence. I was wondering if you used the cd's that came along with the package. I have read all the material and just started using them.

I still have yet to drive, but I am suppose to drive my husband home tonight. I feel better having someone with me. I also seem to be more relaxed. It is the driving by myself on the highway that freaks me out.

My husband goes on vacation in a couple of weeks and I am sure he does not want to get up every morning to take me to work. Do you think I am pushing it by trying to drive that fast or do you think I am wrong for putting it off?

I didn't get the cd's with the program i ordered. when driving i started putting on music that was more relaxing for me to listen to. it helped ease my mind little bit more.

take baby steps with the program and take it one day at a time. this way you can build up more confidence to get to the next hurdle. i keep a cheat sheet in my car of some of the things from the book that i would read before i drove everyday. it actually came in handy to have a lil reminder of things right before driving. as for driving in a few weeks- i'd say just take it slow and figure it out as it gets closer.

Thank you Steve. I was hoping that you or someone has used the CD's. I guess what I am not sure of is, when should I start using them. Should I only listen to them at home in a quiet place or take them with me in my car.

I will say the 1st cd i heard with music relaxed me so much I almost fell asleep.

Mr. Presta, if you could answer this more me, I would much appreciate it.

Sorry if I sound confused. Since riding with my husband. I get up about an hour earlier and it is finally starting to show. I am really tired. LOL

Well there's a few different audios. The audio version of the program is like any other audiobook and replicates the manual, so you can start that right away. The Fast Lane and Safe Series should be listened too at home when you can relax, NOT in the car. The interviews you can listen to whenever.

That help?
