Hi I'm Karli and I'm 23 yrs old and I have a fear of driving.
I got my DL at the age of 17 and was very excited to finally be able to drive and get away from home. What you don't know is that I have suffered from severe panic attacks and consequently passed out because them them. I had a job my senior year that required me to drive at late hours. I had no problems till after my senior of high school after I had met my ex bf. He isn;t the problem don't worry. Anyways one day I was leaving the house out in the country and going to a doc appt and started freaking about who knows what...anyway I ended up pulling over to the side of the road and got out to look for help and passed out i the middle of the street, some lady found me and took me home. I guess ever since then I have been afraid of driving.
There have been days here and there where I will an urge to wanna drive but then when I start driving around I end up back at home cause the fear is so much....Help!
