How can i get over my driving fear?

Hello everyone I am trying to get over my fear of driving anyone have any suggestions? This is my 3rd learners permit i had since 2004. I am real nervous when it comes to driving. I am nervous of the people behind me as i feel they are rushing me to drive faster. I took driving lessons at a Driving school and i still am a little nervous. I am tired of hearing people saying to me you are that age and do not even have your license. I know how to drive its just the fear that is holding me back.

Hi, I know exactly how you feel, I'm 21, I have a permit, but I avoid driving all together, and of course I do not have a driver's license. My mom gets frustrated and tells me you need to drive, you have to drive. I already know that, but it makes me feel pressured and forced. I want to conquer my fear so bad, but it's going to take a long time. I'm still going through the Driving Fear Program and it has helped identify what is really going on inside my mind and within myself. So I would suggest the Driving Fear Program to see if it would work for you and I'm pretty sure it will, but you do have to put forth the effort and will power to overcome your fear of driving and to stick to the program. One of the things that I've learned in the program is that, fear is real, but anxiety is not. There's a difference between fear and anxiety. We are anxious about what we think is going to happen or what may happen. It's all in our heads, but tell my body that you know. So I'm struggling each and every day, every time I see people driving in their cars and I'm still riding the bus. Endure with perseverance and you can do it.

That's good that you have learned from Driving school. First never become nervous while driving. If you still nervous. jsut read topic in this forum some person, how they take out there fear.
