Many drivers fear driving high speed during rainy seasons because fearing brake failure. What causes failure?
My question is trying to target the roads carnage we have when it rains cats and dogs. Many people fear driving at a high speed stating that in case of emergency the brakes usually fails during that season leading to coalition. That is why Iam trying to ask what happens during that time.

First of all good question. I am too fear of driving fast at rainy season. We can't do anything if our luck is good break is ok, if not then GOD save us. Jokes a part, it is better we drive slow in rainy season.

Each and every person has fear to drive in rainy season. But here is some tips I want to share which I got ,
Pull off the road if the rain is too heavy and the road is unclear.
Pay attention to the pedestrians walking aside or trying to cross the road.
Don’t follow another driver too closely and try to keep plenty of distance between the front and back vehicles.
Slow down instantly when the rain starts as rain water mixed with oil can make the road slippery and slick. Turn on the lights and wipers of car .

They really aren’t fearing brake failure, they are fearing hydroplaning. At high speeds on wet surfaces, tires will be riding on the water, not on the pavement. When they brake the water doesn’t slow the tires down at all, so they don’t stop and crash. That is the reason. The brakes don’t fail, traction does.
