hey everyone!! sorry i have been mia for a few days, i started my job and have been a bit busy these last few days!!

sooo i drove over the bridge ALONE! it was a little scary but at the same time very exhilarating - i kept thinking of all the positive things people have said on this website as well as other affirmations loved ones have engrained in my mind! i also taped a little picture of grissom from csi on my dashboard!!! :ugeek: i think he is awesome and looking at the pic just makes me laugh and loosens me up a bit!

i am still having a little trouble waiting at stoplights at large intersections - but that is also getting much better!!! the program has helped me in ways i never thought possible! i will continue with my exercises and know that i am well on my way to being a confident HAPPY driver!!!

thanks to all of you for your wonderful words of encouragement and support - it really does mean a lot to me!!! i hope you are all doing well on your own road to recovery!!! :)

and a big GIANT thanks to RICH for creating such and amazing LIFE CHANGING program!!! thank you thank you thank you!!!!

p.s.

my new job is amaaaazing - i LOVE it!!!

Way to go, Once!!!!!!!!!! "a little scary" on the bridge? "a little trouble" with the lights? An "amazing" job? You are rockin'!!

taping up grissom up made me laugh.... maybe I need something like that in my car. I'm into "House" - but is he inspiring? hmmm Maybe if I tape it up with duct tape.

I know you have been working hard toward getting over that bridge - to a job that you want to go to? makes it even better.

Keep posting... (and thought popping over those red lights, breathing over the bridges)

Wow Once!

Congratulations!!! I have been checking posts daily or twice daily to see your post re the big bridge drive. You deserve to give yourself a mega huge pat on the back. Rich has done a great job in developing the program, but there will not be one single success story unless individuals using the program commit to it and have motivation for recovery. You are proof of that, and a great role model for the rest of us.

Use and enjoy the momentum of your success. I'm also delighted to hear that you are loving that new job. Keep posting Once. The forum really will benefit from people like you that continue to reinforce to others the benefits of working through the program, dealing with the good, not always so good, but ultimately coming out on tops.

Again, terrific to read of your success (hugs from me).
